Each panel includes a side-mounted tilt bar for smooth louvre control. You can choose to position the tilt bar at the front for convenient operation or to the rear for a cleaner, more contemporary look – the most popular choice for modern homes.

Available in white only, the Urban Shutters range offers three louvre sizes and a choice of Full Height, Café Style, or Tier-on-Tier configurations. Optional louvre breaks allow even greater flexibility over light and privacy control, ensuring the perfect finish for any room.

    Urban Shutters are a PVC extrusion. This modular design makes manufacturing a relatively simple and less time-consuming process. This, coupled with the fact that with BN Shutters you are ordering straight from the manufacturer, makes for a very competitively priced product.

    All shutters will still bleed in light to a small degree. For the overwhelming majority of people, shutters block out enough light for bedrooms and sleeping.

    Yes, urban Shutters PVC material is very easy to clean. In bathrooms, you could spray them with your shower head. Typically, a wipe-down with soapy water or a damp cloth works. In our factory, the shutters are cleaned with Cif prior to packaging. In fact, most cleaning products would work with the exception of bleach. For very minor scratches, pen marks/markers we sell a fine pad sandpaper which will take out the offending blemish.

    As BN Shutters are the manufacturer, we can replace broken louvres very quickly, mostly within 48 hours. Full Panels are usually replaced within a week. If the damaged products are covered by wear and tear, we will replace them for free. If you’ve had an accident with your shutter, then this may be chargeable. In all respects, we aim to give you a fast replacement service.
